This is my first time trying this out, and it was wonderfully fun.
Examining ice flakes, calm crystal ornaments clogging the motorway.
In my skirt, my closet void My dinner overlooked Hoping the tendrils, diamond crown the trees
Outside A dark sleep flags the present, dresses the snow, terrible.
Examining ice flakes, calm crystal ornaments clogging the motorway Only hopes.

This is wonderful jahamette. And very impressive for a Drops, especially for your first Drops. I will be watching out for more of these from you. Be careful though, they are addictive. Lady B

Welcome to the drops section. Loved this wonderfully crafted poem and so glad you had so much fun writing it. I look forward to reading more from you throughout the boards here at TPS. My exalt button is gone right now, but this is one I would exalt. I owe ya. The following was my favorite:
The imagery was fabulous throughout, but this particular stanza almost took me to this place in my minds eye. I could see it so clearly. Nicely done and thoroughly enjoyed.

A wistfulness sweeps through this, like the snow crystals themselves. Well done. m
