A Floor, Painted White
He walked the hallway leading in Past a painted floor A loosened tie… Tough black skin Kicked in an opened door
A family entered, overhead Dove under water, cool "Is it fiction?" the children read A boy splashed in a pool
Open eyes were shining black He smelled the fresh, sea air Weather-bared, front to back Under wildly tousled hair
A whole world’s problems, each one bright Were silent, in a jar Lifted to a floor, painted white Fiction, under a star

Super nice read. To me, it has an air of dreaminess - an above-the-real-world quality only found in fiction!
