Inconsistent goodbyes slip overhead, Reducing its sugar, its goodness, Calcified; the twinkling joke.
Why refuse the throat of a compulsory Attack?

Holy Schneees. Every word of this poemuzzle rings the bells of the title louder. It's slightly shifty, like it's unsure of itself, just like a sugared goodbye would be. I can't put words to how this slammed into me.

it started out slow and unsure but the end of it was like bang. Leaves you thinking. I think goodbyes are like that. You go through it not really knowing what it means and then youre left holding the pieces when it really hits you.

Why indeed! Since when has less become more? Has little become a powerful slap, eh?
Wowza!

"Calcified; the twinkling joke." LOVED this image! I love drop's of poetry and this is indeed a gem of a piece....I like what Chelle said about this, how the end really hit's hard and the imagery you use, does that to the reader....this was great! Thanks for sharing...musie

Gem indeed, a glorious sugary gem. It's brilliant, a creative and effective use of the words. Very much enjoyed.

Excellent use of the drops, Lil! I really hate sugared goodbyes, but they beat the alternative, me thinks
