The lush summer flowers made her think about him.
The images plague her like some terrible film.
Crazy Nostalgia[/b]
The care-free picnic days. His delicate voice melting her. The strumming guitar nights.
Flirting Stars[/b]
He changed her life composed himself collected his things and was gone.
Silent Stranger[/b]

Lady B, wow, that was anything but cliche too me, I read a story that connected the opening where you see a relationship that went wrong to the end where he becomes a silent stranger. And this is a drops poem? this is amazing, it must have taken you hours. As some ole Chinese fella would say in a 1970's tv show Kung-Fu: "you have done well, grasshopper, you are now ready to take on the world." With that I think I'll end my comment... Daniel

"He changed her life composed himself collected his things and was gone." I think that's my favorite stanza, Lady B- I really did just love this, and I definitely echo Sir Daniel's comments wholeheartedly, as well as Jahaliel *dancing*'s. Keep up the inspiring writing, lady, I definitely love reading your work!

Hi Lady B,
This wasn't cliche at all! It was wonderful. You arranged these words so beautifully and gave birth to some amazing images... I love it. Exalt! I love how you broke up the stanzas with those pithy two word lines. A very enjoyable write. Great job, thanks for sharing!
Peace, Nick

It's like a journey, a life-cycle, and it isn't cliche but quite imaginative to me... maybe it's just that the "cliches" were put in an imaginative way? Anyway, I like this!

I'll swim against the current here, and say that much of it did indeed sound cliche, but in such a non cliche way. This story of a heartbreaking moment is (almost) disturbingly gorgeous. Life simply isn't fair. I wish I could do that. Beautiful work, Lady B.

Nice.
The melancholy feel of this was the kicker for me. I swayed several times in its perfume.
Pen, the filament of friends and lovers never disappears, though their steps may fade along the path, they pour gold upon us- that will never tarnish.
Affectionately,
me
