The biologist suffers love.
The biologist proceeds to get married. He pretends the wedding is a love triumph. The biologist suffers throughout the ritual. He is questioning it... The dress, the chapel, the kisses, the ceremony...an endless spoof!
Every species works to get results, to triumph over the rival... Love is a myth to the biologist, an agenda... It is how their species multiplies!

Cool idea--I can really see the analytical scientist being completely confused when confronted with cultural tradition and analyzing it only to find nothing. I couldn't help but feel sorry for the bride though, although perhaps she is thinking similar thoughts. I thought the juxtaposition of the last two lines was very well done, it really summed up the poem in an interesting way. Well done.
