High Shoes
Shoe's on the line, a shoe in the street old shoes, new shoes, once housed some feet. Stinky and worn; all sizes and shapes tossed on a line, and lost in space.
Once I'm sure they carried a face, They might have even won a race. Bright and new in a box once found Now by fate they just hang around.

Hey Musie! I really like this piece. There are so many stories objects can tell us. This makes me think of the thought, 'take a walk in someone else's shoes...' Lovely write. Enjoyed.

Life of a shoe could be an alternate title, an amusing and interesting piece.

I see that quite a lot where I live, especially in my neighborhood. I've always thought the same thing. And I've always wondered how they could throw them that high??

well, girls...I just recently heard that's a sign of drug activity in a neighborhood..I guess the dealers put them there to advertise business?
I know, right?
this was an adorable drop poem, musie!
