Quiet Paris angel, Glory for a season. I can taste your anguish, As you bleed without a reason. Love so old, Love so cold, You hide furious memories With stories untold. Take upon violin and bow, Scrape out the love you sold. Caress the wood in sweet embrace, As tears fall down your ancient face. In your eyes your spirit dies, Til' loved one shatters all chains and ties. Horse hair curling from your ebony bow, Smoking, Withering, In flames of gold. Break loose, Tear free, The spirits that be; Fly, fly away, Take air -- breathe deeply. The bliss of freedom on your tongue As your fingers touch Your only love. I really like this poem - it reminds me of E.A.Poe stuff because it is so musical it really flows almost like a song. My favorite part is "Caress the wood in sweet embrace, As tears fall down your ancient face."Good job!

I'm always captivated by your words. This work portrays the want to be free and loved quite generously, yet with that quiet air of dignity and sorrow I've come to deeply respect and admire. I hope you'll find your freedom soon.
