4 very dramatic, yet very powerful words. Alas change is never an easy thing, and often times sadness is what we feel as our lives change so dramatically before our eyes. I went through a "melancholic metamorphosis" myself last night as I reminisced about my sisters passing, my father never being involved in my life and missing out on so much with me and my children, the only father I knew passing on and leaving me with this huge gaping hole in my heart....well I could go on and on, but I think you got the point I was trying to make. Nicely done molly.

bobswife, thank you so much for sharing and being so open. they say loss helps us transcend ego. what price clarity, huh? i am sorry about your pain. and I relate. the older we grow, the more shocks to our heart. best, m
