First try, I think after reading some of the other submissions, I may have missed the point.
The Economy;
A rotted home multiplies excess expires greed rages before it dies

I don't think you missed the point at all...and welcome aboard to our wonderful, artistic family here at TPS. If you need anything, I'm just a pm away. I loved the simplicity of this in the short nature of it, but after you read it...you realize that it isn't simplistic at all. There are homes being foreclosed at a rate of about 20,000 a day in America! That is so sad. And the economy is in such shambles now that the ordinary American might shudder to think that a depression is looming in the not so distant future. This used to be a land of plenty and now look at what it has become...people struggling to keep a roof over their heads, food in their mouths, and fighting to keep the wolf from their doors. Exalt for this. And I tip my hat to you for such passionate, poetic truth. I look forward to reading more from you throughout the boards here at TPS. Hugs~~~ Stacy

jp, I agree with Stacy. You definitely got the point. Not only that, but you showed the futility that many are feeling in today's economy. well written piece using few words. Lady B

you did indeed hit the point exactly, we live in troubled times when most can remember days when we didn't have to pinch our penny's so tight. you have showed what happens when some people with all the money keep it for themselves.
