Author's Note: This is my first poem with Drops of Poetry. I think I'm hooked. Enjoy... **************** Delicious ashes feed my heart Hollow tears sneak out of my eyes I breathe dead air Naked dreams dared to echo Death embraced my quiet life Now I exhale frigid sunlight Now I inhale anguished spring Silently the sting of truth Freed ghosts of empty graves Lives I ended when cold smiles bloomed On my silky lips Now I recoil from the taste of blood The black rose litters my life I live in the hell Where my soul now resides ***************** Your Humble and Obedient Servant, T.F.

That was good, I like the twist on the words. Great descriptions and everything.

Definitely enjoyed it. Isn't it cool how the Drops of Poetry can be used so differently by different people? Look forward to more from you. - M
