Wonderful...you pulled alot from the drops with this piece. I loved these lines: Getting away from the reigning din, for a little peace from human sin. Exalt! Thank you for the Exalt...and as poet I have to say, that it thrill's for the reader to quote..a particular stanza that they enjoyed...Thank you so much....musie

In the Field
Cradling her child in a sea of white memories of pain, memories of fright. Getting away from the reigning din, for a little peace from human sin.
Comfort of touch; away from harm, dreaming of life, with a little charm. A mother with concerned eyes, child smiles at the warming skies...

Broken Down
Broken down and losing a wheel, joint bearings are rusted and squeal. Mechanics prod and try to tell, just what they thinks not working well.
Rusty trap has been neglected, it's been run down and neglected. Running the course, it now must rest to the scrap yard it must be blessed.

High Shoes
Shoe's on the line, a shoe in the street old shoes, new shoes, once housed some feet. Stinky and worn; all sizes and shapes tossed on a line, and lost in space.
Once I'm sure they carried a face, They might have even won a race. Bright and new in a box once found Now by fate they just hang around.

"I loved the beauty of this, puts me in mind of England with it's grand structures and tumbling ruins."
Thank you so much for reading and leaving this personal compliment, much appreciate when someone can personally identify with a writing....musie

Ancient Ruins
Branches shadow the crumbling wall; a building with mystery halls. Historic tales of a Kings lair and a lovely, with grace and flair. Moon tracing an ancient glory, of stately halls and their story.
This was done from inspiration from a picture...which is exasperating not to be able to do on this site...

niadra~Hi! If no one has welcomed you to the site..glad you are here....now I've read this piece and I like the story, and I don't know if your in for some advice..but for me..there were a few thing's that were bothersome...Such as did you mean "behind the stiff leaves" or leaf's? "Then leaves she into grave" Just a bit there that I personally could not make sense of sorry to say...maybe just a little bit of tweaking to make this ring true with your Title...? MHO...musie...

Care Free
Children at play on a beautiful day delighting to see their wondrous way. Untainted souls, creative young minds spirits not broken yet by the unkind.
Watch them slide and merry go round swinging and tottering, up and down. Make believe times, scampering about no care in the world or seeming to doubt.
